Lemkin is a shareholder at Stark & Stark and a member of its Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group. For his efforts, in 2009, he was honored by the RUAA with the Block R Award, and he was named a Rutgers Alumni Association Loyal Son of Rutgers in 2013. He served on the board of directors and was Chair of the The Rutgers University Alumni Association (RUAA) he served on the Board and was President of the Rutgers Touchdown Club and is the Chair of the Development Board for the Rutgers Center for the Study of Genocide and Human Rights. Joe has been an active member of the Rutgers University alumni community for two decades. Joe is a member of Beth El Synagogue, where he previously served on the Board of Directors. Joe also serves on the United Way, Strike Out Hunger Committee and supported the Mercer Street Friends efforts to combat hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joe has been actively involved with JFCS for many years and particularly enjoys chaperoning his children’s JCYF trips to New York City. Joe and his wife Risa are the proud parents of three children, Lara, Cayla and Daniel. Nancy lives in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, with her husband, Steven and two children, Samuel and Emma. She started her educational career as a middle school and coach teacher in Hamilton Township, then spent 10 years as a principal in Flemington-Raritan Regional School District. Gartenberg served as the superintendent of schools in Montgomery Township, Somerset County for eight years and in South Hunterdon Regional Schools, in Lambertville, for five years. Gartenberg is a member of and former Board member of Congregation Beth Chaim, serving on multiple committees.ĭr. Gartenberg earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. She holds a doctorate in education with distinction from Rider University, serves as a Board Trustee for the County College of Morris and Morris County School of Technology, and is a court recognized educational expert witness.
